Wedding Card for Scrapy Land Guest Designer--Anything Goes

Hello, friends! It's time for another challenge at Scrapy Land, and the theme this time is Anything Goes plus use any brand die that Scrapy Land sells. I know you will be inspired by the makes the talented Design Team made for you, so be sure to pop over to see them all. I hope you are inspired to join this challenge which is an easy one! Just be sure to use any brand die Scrapy Land sells for your chance to win a generous $15 gift certificate to the shop.  For today's challenge I made a wedding card for my niece (who happens to be named after me), and her devoted and charming Groom to Be!

Here are the dies I used which are all brands Scrapy Land sells:
Sizzix  Bigz Tattered Florals
Sizzix Thinlits Friendship Words: Script
Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large
Tattered Lace Ornate Leaves

I photographed my card outdoors today, because the light was just perfect, so if you see any dark spots, they are not intentional but are some debris being blown off the trees. I'd sweep it away and the breeze would bring more!

For the background panel, I used a Tim Holtz Flourish mini stencil and texture paste, and colored with Distress stain and ink in Cracked Pistachio.

I applied Liquid Pearls to the Cheery Lynn  French Lattice Small die cut. I cut the Memory Box Bloomington Wreath two times and colored the bottom wreath with Color Box chalk ink and Cracked Pistashio distress ink. For the top layer, I used those colors and Distress markers in Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick to add details.  While the inks were still damp, I embossed it a second time for a deep impression. I purposefully colored each bloom differently so they would appear as they would in nature, and set them a little off center so the bottom layers would appear as a shadow.

The two larger flowers are cut with Sizzix Tattered Florals by Tim Holtz, and colored with the same Color Box ink. The vintage seam binding was colored with Antique Linen Distress stain and the satin flower is from my stash, perfectly colored already! I am so pleased with how the colors came out on this card. No filters were used to photograph, just the natural light which allows the delicate colors to show, and these are the exact colors my niece chose for her wedding.

I tucked in some Memory Box Chloe stems and Tattered Lace Ornate Leaves, cut from white card.

The panel in the center of the wreath is cut with a Spellbinders Nestibilities Standard Circles Large die and blended with Color Box ink and stamped with a Heidi Swapp background in Watering Can Archival ink. 'Mr. and Mrs.' is from Stampin' Up, and I used Jet Black Archival to ink and edge.

'Together' is a Sizzix Friendship Words Script die which I embossed with Stampendous Frantage Aged Silver embossing powder.

I would like to enter my card into the following inspiring challenges:
Retro Rubber Challenge #39 May Flowers My Stampin' Up stamp (Mr. and Mrs.) is at least 5 years old and my Heidi Swapp is approximately 18 months old.
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #230-Lots of Layers Theme I used French Lattice Small die.
Emerald Creek Dares Here Comes Summer! It's all about the garden and summer weddings this summer! Well, I finally figured out the challenge was to be about the beach, not summer in general, so let's say I embraced the colors of the beach with my wedding card.  Wink, wink!

Thank you for stopping by today and for all your lovely comments! I read and appreciate each and every one of them!
Hugs and Blessings!
