I cut Tim Holtz Tangled Twigs die from Metallic Kraft Stock, sanded and heat embossed with sparkly powder. I layered this over a panel I colored with Distress Oxides, Weathered Wood and Stormy Sky. I tucked in a Flurry #2 snowflake cut from water color paper.
I cut a snow drift from the Home For the Holidays Thinlits set and heat embossed with more of the sparkly powder. I smudged shadows using Hickory Smoke Distress crayon and a very slightly dampened finger. A Paper Doll (I think he is from this year's release.) and a Remnant Rub from last year finish off this super simple card. I scuffed the Paper doll and colored with Gathered Twigs oxide ink and when the card was assembled I splattered with Picket Fence Distress paint using my Splatter Brush.
Merry Christmas!
Sara Emily

ReplyDeleteLove those sparkly twigs in the background, and I do like this chap with his tree, though I miss the guy standing holding it on the other side... as it was in the original Found Relatives photo. Great card.

This is wonderful Sara Emily, so many gorgeous details. I didn't realise that there was more than one set of Christmas paper dolls - I guess that's something else that I now need lol. Thank you so much for joining in with our challenge at Country View Crafts, and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Sue xx
