You can see the details of Linda's tag HERE. Below is her beautiful tag...
I guess it's pretty obvious I was inspired of her use of the big guy himself. I stamped mine on a stitched circle die I won earlier this year.
I was also inspired by her little tags with the post marks on them. Sadly, I don't have those stamps, and I recently got rid of some that were similar. Instead I stamped a portion of one of my old Tim Holtz' Holiday Collections images on a postage stamp die cut from his Labels Thinlits set.
I used one single tiny bell and a Christmas word token I received in my goodie bag with my last order from The Funkie Junkie Boutique. Linda always includes a little extra thank you gift with your order; this is one reason I love shopping at her well stocked on-line store.
I don't have the mold Linda used, but I did use a Prima IOD mold to make my plaque. I have some old foil Remnant Rubs, but they didn't work on the paper clay for me. So I rubbed them on card stock and carefully cut the letters out and glued them to my plaque. I'm at the bottom of my Crazing jar, and it's getting pretty stiff. I decided to use it to seal my foil letters and see what happened. I pretty much ended up with a grungy mess.
One down, eleven more to go! Do you think I'll make it? Why not play along yourself and get your Christmas cards done? This easy 12 week challenge is generously sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique. The simple guidelines can be found on Linda's blog HERE, and she has lot's of prizes for some lucky winners!
