Just Two More Distressed Valentine's Day Cards--I Promise!

Happy Valentine's Day! Yep! That's right. It seems I forgot two very important people who would LOVE a hand made Valentine card. So I whipped this pair up in just over an hour from idea to licked envelope. That might not be a big deal for many, but being the slow crafter that I am, it's a record.

I was inspired by the plaid background on a heart on a very special Valentine card I received in the mail yesterday. I used one of Tim's mini stencils and Festive Berries Distress ink to make the pattern on Spellbinder's heart and to make the monoprint background. I die cut a pair of hearts from black card stock for some contrast.

The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers which I heat embossed in Ranger black powder. The script on the background is an old Stampin' Up background stamp inked in Distress Archival ink. I added some staples with Tim's Tiny Attacher on one and 'stitching' on another with a BoBunny stamp.

Easy Peasy, but made with love!

I'm sharing with these challenges:

Hugs and Blessings!
