Happy Easter Card-Scrapy Land Challenge #63-Anything Goes

Hello friends and visitors! I'm super excited to share some good news with you today! I'm one of the newest members of the Design Team at Scrapy Land Challenge Blog! Joining me is my good friend Autumn of Sew Paper Paint! The challenge theme this time is Anything Goes using any brand die that Scrapy Land sells. I have made an Easter card for my first project.

Scrapy Land hosts new challenges on the first and third Wednesday of each month. You can join in the challenges by using any brand die that Scrapy Land sells on your project--they carry over 55 brands of dies in their store. The chosen winner receives a generous $15 gift certificate to the store!

The Floral Daisy Egg was colored with Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides, and I backed it with card colored in Antique Linen Distress ink, and hand cut a second from a coordinating paper.

For my flower arrangement I used Sizzix Tiny Tattered Florals Thinlits and a few tiny flowers from my stash. I colored the die cut flower with Fired Brick and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides. I tucked a few Memory Box Chloe Stems behind the flowers, and these were also colored with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide.

Two more Tiny Tattered Florals flowers painted this time with just Worn Lipstick Oxide; the third flower in this cluster is from my stash and inked with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. Another Chloe Stem, also inked with Cracked Pistachio Oxide peeks out from behind. The tiniest flower at the bottom is from my stash, totally unadorned--I love how it matches almost perfectly!

You can see the business ends of two hand cut tags in the two photos below. I used Sizzix Tag and Bookplates die to make the little reinforcers out of a script designed paper.

The "lace" at the bottom is by Sizzix. All layers were edged in Frayed Burlap Distress ink.

The papers, trim and seam binding are also from my stash. The bunny image is Tim Holtz. Here is a glance from the side so you can see how layered up this card is. My daughter recently brought some scraps of foam core home from college, and these make wonderful little spacers between layers, adding height but not weight.

And one last look at my card, so you don't have to scroll back up.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Now it's your turn! Head over to Scrapy Land to see all the inspiration from the talented Design Team and then make your own Anything Goes project--just make sure it has a brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. The winner receives a $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land!

Thank you for stopping by today and for all your amazing comments!
Hugs and Blessings!
