Welcome friends! I was inspired to make this card when I witnessed one of God's miracles the other day. A neighbor raises Monarch butterflies at her home in little mesh tents. I watched a caterpillar change into a chrysalis for the first time in my life! It is amazing and only takes them about 5 minutes!
I started with an alcohol ink background I had in my background stash and used Tim's Mixed Media dies, set #5 to cut the flowers. I backed this panel with Heavystock card sprayed with Dylusions Squeezed Orange Ink spray. I used Distress collage medium in matte to adhere and then painted that over the entire panel, because I really don't care for shiny backgrounds.
The butterfly is cut from black card and more of the orange paper using Tim's Mini Detailed Butterflies die. I cut some antennae using a die in my stash and gave them a hit of Prima Metallique wax in White Gold. 'Shine Brightly' is Tim's Ideaology Quotations Metallic sticker.
Such an easy card that will hopefully brighten someone's day!
