Good morning, crafty friends! Oh, happy day! I've finished up another card to enter Linda's 12 Tags of Christmas challenge--week 6 this time. Here is my simple vintage grunge Christmas card.
I masked my tree, and flicked on watered down white acrylic paint with my new Tim Holtz Splatter brush I got in my recent Funkie Junkie order. If you like to splatter like I do, this tool is worth it's weight in gold. I also used my marker spritzer and Black Soot Distress marker for a little more aging. My "ornaments" are tiny flat backed pearls I colored with alcohol inks, Wild Plum and Snowcap Mixative. These were inspired by those holly berries on Linda's tag. An Ideaology Mirrored Star colored with Sunshine Yellow and Mushroom alcohol inks top my tree. "O Holy Night" is by Momenta.
A very easy card to make, thanks to Linda's awesome inspiration! Please stop by her blog for tons of Christmas inspiration, and while you're there, join in the fun of her 12 Tags of Christmas challenge. If you are one of three lucky winners, you will receive a generous gift voucher to her shop the Funkie Junkie Boutique, who is the sponsor of this challenge. Each participant who follows the easy guidelines and participates in each of the 12 challenges receives a 15% discount coupon to her store for their entire order in the month of January! What could be better than that!?
I would like to enter my card into the following inspiring challenges:
