Welcome friends! Here's a little sneak peek of the Saturday Step by Step I've got on Frilly and Funkie today. I hope you'll get a chance to stop by the blog to see the full project and details on how I've made my mixed media backgrounds. I'd love to hear from you if you give this technique a try!

I'd like to share with these challenges, if you wouldn't mind popping over to the blog for the completed project:

  12. What a wonderful card Sara! Love your work with the metallic backgrounds, wow! The blue tones are so perfect for a wintery theme, and your contrast in tones really creates a frosty feeling! The snowflakes are a great addition, and the star centres are just amazing! A fantastic card and well put together tutorial my friend!

We got another light and fluffy snowfall this week and I took over a thousand photos outside! I finally found the Chickadees, just a few degrees warm up in the weather, and they came flocking out from their hiding spots!! I just can't get enough of this wonderful winter we are having. Sorry I haven't replied to your email, I'm soooo bad with emails. lol sending hugs :)

  15. I'm blog hopping and catching up. I adore this!!! Left you lots of love at F&F. Hmm, I'm thinking with all the goodies Santa brought, maybe it's a really crazy time for you since you haven't posted in a week. Hope things are OK. We need to facetime!!! Or better yet meet up! I had wanted to while I was at the beach but it was too crazy and then didn't want to interrupt your bday. Hope it was great! Hugs, Autumn
