Hello friends and visitors! Do you love cupcakes like me? I've whipped up this yummy birthday card to help Simon Says Stamp challenge blog celebrate their 7th birthday.
At the center of my card is Tim Holtz Birthday Blueprint Framelits. I won this set on Tim's blog, and I've never used it! Shame on me! I've put my Distress Oxides to work to color both the cupcake and the Spellbinders circle die cut beneath the Tim Holtz doily die cut.
I used an embossing folder and white embossing powder to do some double embossing. And of course, some more DOX and Distress inks to color my background panel. Here are some close ups of that wonderful chalky color that blends and fades so effortlessly. I can't wait to get the new colors!
Happy Birthday, Simon Says Stamp!
I'm sharing my card with the following challenges:

What a great cupcake card Sara Emily! wonderful white embossing, beautiful background and colors! A true birthday celebration on a card! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteCan't spend too long looking at the cupcake... I do love them but they don't love me... I have had to put out a restraining order on them and I haven't touched the stuff for months. Your background, however, calorie and guilt free, is a delight and your choice of colours, fresh and pretty but not girly, is perfect.
