Tim's 12 Tags of 2016-January

Hello, again!  It's time for Tim's January tag, and it's electrified! I found this month's tag to be a little intimidating at first, but once I got started it really was quite easy and so fun!

Tim's combining two of his older techniques and updating them--for this coming year, he is doing a "technique re-mix". Here is his tag using his chalkboard and industrious metal techniques. He provides full instructions on his blog, so I won't go into detail on mine. Thank you, Tim, for the amazing inspiration and instructions for your techniques!

2016TAG

It even seems to light up in the dark, thanks to Stickles on each tip of the snowflake.

I would like to enter my tag into the following inspiring challenges:
Stamps and Stencils Oh So Blue I hope I am following the theme closely enough.  Black and white are not considered colors and my only color on this is blue.
Emerald Creek Dares New I have Tim's foil tape, but Santa put a roll of 3M Metal Repair tape in my stocking that I wanted to give a try.
Paper Sweeties Inspirations# 39 January 2016 My inspirations comes from the silver balls on the icing, the aqua color and the snowflakes!

Thank you for stopping by and for your encouraging comments.  I read and appreciate each and every one of them!
Hugs and Blessings!

  3. Hi again Sarah, not sure if my last comment posted so just in case wanted to say what a stunning tag, althougg not sure if there is any stamping and Vintage Stamping Challenges does require that as the focal element. But it's still lovely to see your lovely piece.

  4. Thanks so much for your message Sara, sometimes it's so difficult to tell what is stamped so I am glad I asked the question as it really is a stunner.

  9. Oh my gosh! This is my favorite yet! The snowflakes in black and silver was a genius idea!!! I'm loving it (far better than my own - which has a time theme)! The stickles are the coolest accent, the blue just brings it all together. Very well done, my friend! It's snowing here (hey I'm near Greenville by the way, also 20 minutes to Clemson) and this tag gets me even more excited!!! Happy winter to you!

  19. Oooh, Sara! This is spectacular... Tim's tag may have inspired it, but your take on it far exceeds any. Wow! The combination of dark and metallic is extraordinary and I adore the big snowflake that truly lights up the night. :o) Stickles are magical. The metallic section is mind-boggling. Every detail is so perfectly lovely. Beautiful work, my friend. I hope you love everything you create, too. :o)

  20. Love your frosted industrial look - totally amazing as it gleams in the light - wow! Terrific take on the January tag... Since I know I'm going to miss at least half of them, I've pretty much given up before I started this year, but maybe I should knuckle down and get making!
