Hello friends and visitors! I have a quick little canvas I made just for the 'Out of the Cold' theme at Frilly and Funkie hosted by Cec. I already made an entry, but it seemed a little dark, so I poked around my scraps bin to see if I could whip something more appropriate up before the link up closes in just a few more hours.
Then I took it outside for a look at what inspired me in the last of the evening sun.
I'm sharing with these challenges:

Well, it seems that Amazon's Web services are down, so I missed a few tight link up deadlines.
Thank you for stopping by and for your amazing comments!

Wow, it's like spring exploded into my house through my computer screen!! Look at those colours, you really pulled some amazing inspiration from your garden! Your textured sun rays are brilliant and the amazing rich tones of the foliage below are so wonderful! Your flower arrangement is the highlight for me, those bright and cheery yellows have brightened up my day and put me in a wonderful mood! The red just pops and the white creates a lovely contrast! Thank you my friend for the delightful boost this morning, you always make me smile with your art! sending hugs :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! First of all I am amazed that you work just as well in "bright and happy" as you do in dark and mysterious. ROTFL! This beautiful project looks right at home among your daffodils (?). I have been working a lot and in the end have about 12 new projects in blues (a bit aqua) and browns. I just can't get away from "my" colors. You have really inspired me to think outside the box today, sweetie. Hugs, Autumn
ReplyDeleteWow! Now that's a punch of tropical color! This is such a fun canvas Sara Emily...and it really feels like I'm wandering through a tropical garden. The texture is grand! Thanks so much for joining the fun at the Frilly and Funkie "Out of the Cold" challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis has a lovely sunshine feel to it, both the flowers and those fabulous textured rays. It has me looking forward to summer.
