Welcome! I'm so excited to get out my Christmas crafting goodies once again! I made this tag using lots of Tim Holtz goodies so I could play along with the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. It's a Christmas in July blog hop, and if you haven't yet visited each of the designer's blogs, I would highly recommend it for some amazing Christmas inspiration!
The crinkle ribbon was colored with Distress stain, and the Ideaology Snowflake Adornment is dusted with Distress Grit paste.
Believe is from the Handwritten Holidays die set, and I gave it a weathered rusty look with Distress Embossing Powder in Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress ink.
I love this little deer from Tim's Winter Wonderland Thinlits die set alongside the Woodlands die cut tree.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Too bad it's around 90 degrees and rainy outside!

This is a great Christmas make! I love that crackle paste through a stencil, it gives such a nice texture and adds so much interest. The die cuts look lovely, that tree is one I have had my eye on for a very long time and now I believe you have given it a much higher rank on the “wish list” with your festive tag! Thanks for sharing and good luck! I am hoping to be able to complete something, definitely inspired! xx

ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed by all the lovely "Christmas in July" stuff I'm seeing - I just can't seem to get "in the mood" to create for that season when it's 90 degrees out! (smile!) I LOVE this gorgeous tag you've created -- what a fun background! Your work is always amazing!

ReplyDeleteIt definitely is looking a bit like Christmas here. It will be 105 degrees F. here today, so not so much outside. The colors and elements give this an elegant style. Beautifully done. So glad you entered the Die Cut Divas' challenge for this month, "Anything but a Card".
